100 Days Fitness Challenge: Rotary Club of Palava Gets Moving!

As the calendar turns to a new year, it’s time for fresh beginnings and renewed commitments to health and wellness. The Rotary Club of Palava is thrilled to announce its very first 100 Days Fitness Challenge, starting on January 6, 2025! This event is designed to inspire every member of our community to embrace fitness, adopt healthy habits, and create a ripple effect of wellness across Palava.
Whether you are a seasoned athlete or someone just beginning their fitness journey, this challenge is for everyone. The focus is on participation, consistency, and community spirit—making fitness a shared celebration.
The Challenge: How It Works
- Duration: January 6, 2025, to April 30, 2025 (115 days).
- Who Can Join? Open to all Rotary Club of Palava members and their families.
- Activities: Participants can choose from a variety of fitness activities—running, walking, cycling, swimming, yoga, or even dancing. As long as you’re moving, it counts!
- Tracking: Each participant will log their activities using the Strava app. A dedicated leaderboard will track progress, fostering friendly competition and motivation.
- Goals: The challenge is about consistency. We encourage participants to aim for at least 30 minutes of activity daily or set weekly personal fitness milestones.
- Rewards: Prizes will be awarded to individuals and teams in categories such as “Most Consistent,” “Greatest Distance Covered,” and “Best Team Spirit.”
How to Participate
- Download the strava app on your mobile. Android User can download from here | Iphone Users can download from here
- Once downloaded create your login ID and signin to Starva
- You can watch the video to know more about how to create and use your strava app
- Join the club https://www.strava.com/clubs/1336845
- This is a 100 Days Challenge ending on 30-04-2025. Allowing 15 days extra to take rest or in case if someone has skipped completing their 100 Days.
- We will keep track of the activities and the participants.
Once starting any activity just start your strava app, keep your app in your pocket while walking and stop the app once your activity is completed. You can also sync strava from most of your wearables.
